Never saw the Michigan win coming. I knew MI was better than they played this year, but I certainly thought FL had the better talent match up. You are right that the team just didn't show up. Good win for MI.
I don't think any self respecting sports journalist thought HI had a chance, but broadcasters are a different story - they're there to sell the story and convince viewers that there's going to be a real fight to the finish (see USC v. IL for details).
